We use Azulene wax, that is specially formulated with natural wax, Azulene oil and chamomile, which makes it beneficial to the skin. It has a light pleasing aroma and is ideal for all skin types.

Questions and Answers about waxing.

How long should my hair be prior to waxing?
Hair should be at least 1/4 inch long. Usually you will need to stop shaving 2 weeks prior to your appointment.

How long before hair reappears?
Generally between 3 to 8 weeks. Less hair regrows and it is eventually finer. Eventually some hair never regrows.

Will my skin get red after waxing?
Most people will notice  a pink color immediately following a wax procedure. This generally will go away after the first hour.
For some the redness will last the first day. Please consult your service provider if redness lasts longer than 24 hours.

How can the pain or discomfort be minimized?
A simple way to minimize the discomfort is to take ibuprofen and/or apply numbing cream one hour prior to being waxed. The combination will greatly reduce the pain also take the "edge" off.

Are there any health precautions?
Some physicians do not recommend hair waxing for persons suffering from diabetes or who have varicose veins or poor circulation as they are more susceptible to infection.
People who have erupted acne, moles, irritated skin or skin treated with Renova, Retin-A, Differin, Accutane, Steroids, Alpha hydroxyl, or any similar products should also avoid waxing treatments.

*When Scheduling your appointment make sure that you notify us about any OTC and prescription medications you are taking.

*It is especially important to tell us if you have diabetes varicose veins, or poor circulation.
